I travel a lot for work. The first thing I do when I get into a rental car is look for a radio station: news, music, whatever. Next comes fun with the "scan" buttons and the distraction of pressing again to lock in a station that sounds interesting while avoiding the checkout booth attendant. Alternatively, I can press through the memory buttons to see what other people have stored... like Russian Roulette for the ears.
Anyway, all that is history: a few seconds in Radio Radar and I know exactly where to tune the radio. Works in the hotel room too. TV is too much of a time sink and a distraction when I need to work in the evening but radio works well in the background. When will hotels put decent speakers in their clock radios (OK I digress).
If you travel or if you like radio, I cant recommend this app too much. Simple, clean, attractive interface and the new update (from a suggestion made in a review on the store I think) to add sorting is even more convenient. 100% recommended. How did we get by without it?
